Avocado Season Update

11-18-2025

Aloha friends,

I wanted to share a quick update from our little avocado grove.

This is usually the time of year when we start getting excited about the Fuerte avocado season ahead. But this year, when we walk the grove… there just isn’t much fruit and it’s clear this is going to be an “off” year.

Avocado trees are funny that way. It’s actually pretty common for them to have a light year and set very little fruit. This makes sense considering last season's heavy and late maturing season. We've been fortunate that we haven't had drastic volume changes in the past few years, but this season, we definitely see it. So we’ve decided to just call it what it is:

The trees decided to take the year off… so we’re going to follow their lead.

With five kids and the general busyness of this season of life, it's a little blessing in disguise. We are in need of a breather, so we’ve decided that we won’t be shipping avocados this year. I know this is sad news and we're so sorry to disappoint!

Our hope is that next season looks different, that the branches are heavy with fruit again. And when they are, we will be excited and ready to share it with you.

Mahalo for being here, for supporting our little grove, and for caring enough to even read this update. We’ll keep you posted on how things are looking next season.

With Aloha,

Candace and the whole Avoha family
